Baby Doll Dress – Innocence
Limited Edition
Cast glass,
240mm x 220mm x 220mm
There was once a young girl who shared her hopes and dreams with her doll. This is her dolls dress.
As young girls we are encouraged to role-play. Part of this is to dress our dolls in clothes that mimic adult fashion garments, letting our imaginations recreate our young world into an imaginary life our future could be.
The baby doll dress was born from the empire line classic and is still very much part of our fashion to this day. Cast in glass, this piece will endure multiple fashion trends, social and historical change, through many lifetimes to come.

‘Home Is Where the Heart Is’
Limited Edition
Cast glass, bronze, chain, copper wire.
400mm x 150mm x 150mm
My new multiple layered glass dress draws upon iconic objects found within the home. I have assembled these objects collected from our domestic, religious and cultural life into a sculpture that celebrates the beauty of living in New Zealand.
Other works in this New Zealand Series are the New Zealand Tea Pot and Lolly Frocks, all of which can be found at Real Aotearoa in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch Stores or through this website.
Please note these dresses are all limited editions.
